Excited - Got Jackson Hole Towncenter

I am so happy -- what I thought was a longshot ongoing exchange request came through! I just checked rci.com and discovered a hold on Jackson Hole Towncenter 2BR for July 2007! I wasn't sure how often owners deposited summer weeks, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to make the request. I can't wait to start planning for this trip, as I've never visited the area before (but I'll try to wait a few more months at least). The last TUG review was dated May 2004. If any TUGger has stayed there since then, particularly during the summer months, I'd appreciate an updated review sometime. (I seem to recall a TUGger did stay there in the last year or two because I remember seeing someone's online photo album of this resort. But I cannot find that thread anymore.)

I'm not familiar with the resort you have your trade into, but you will love the Jackson Hole area. July is a great time to be there, but a lot of other people think so, too. Expect lots of tourists.

The area is great, a lot of things to do. We have been there three times - had relatives that used to live in Driggs, Idaho - right across the mountains. You can visit the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, float on the rivers, visit the National Elk Preserve, Hike, etc... Will be looking forward to your review of the timeshare.

Thanks for this tip as I had never heard of the National Elk Preserve and didn't know it was in the area! Right now we plan on just spending the week in Jackson and Grand Teton -- save Yellowstone for another trip or a second week. Since there are so few regular reviews of this timeshare I will certainly post one upon our return but that won't happen until next July.
