What was your best vacation with 10k WM points

with 10k points in WM, what was your best vacation using those points?
How did you use it. trade? WM resorts?

how far in advance did you have to book your WM unit? When did you travel there ?
 
We also spent 10 days in Worldmark Fiji last July. Another year we stayed in oceanfront two bedroom in Depoe Bay, Oregon. We own 10,000 pts.
 
can you let us know how you got it? how far in advance do you need to book? I am in the process of purchasing WM and I can't wait....
I would like to learn how to use it before I get all that credits.
 
Worldmark resorts can be booked, for stays of 7 days or more, up to 13 months in advance. The highly demanded ones in highly demanded seasons, such as the Oregon Coast in summer, will fill up almost instantly. But owners who cannot book that far in advance can often get in through the waiting list because Worldmark has a generous cancellation policy.
Low season and resorts in less desirable areas are easier to get into and can often be booked with credits or bonus time up until the last minute.
