Exchanging into St.Johns with star option?

Just wondering how hard it is to use star options to get into St.Johns Virgin Islands i am contemplating going there in 2021 if possible?

It can be done, but you have to be right on time when the reservation window opens. We were supposed to be there last month, but had to cancel due to the virus. We were only able to reserve 4 nights, but we were going to combine with some nights on St Thomas. We also went there for a week several years ago. Beautiful place and we hope to go again.

Most St John owners find they get more for their unit by renting it out than they do by trading it. That's what we plan to do with our 2021 Coral Vista studio week 34-50 studio.
I suggest you check the Redweek listings to see how much you might have to pay for a rental. August - Oct prices are not terrible (hurricanes, anyone?). Other than that, it's pricey.

Kinda depends on the asking price, doesn't it? Most of the listers for St John on Redweek and the TUG Marketplace do seem to have an inflated view or what their units are worth. We only rented out once, and it went easily...until the hurricanes hit. Our asking price was lower than most or the others.
