Exchange[rs] at [timeshares] not treated fair.

French Quarter charges fees? I know that Hilton does. $25 to stay at Hilton SeaWorld + $299 exchange fee to RCI, plus required trading power. The cost for our trading power with the weeks I still use for deposit is too high to make that worthy.

Now if I had a week that is cheap and gets a lot of TPU's, I could stay at a Hilton in Orlando again, and I would love to stay there again sometime. I just plan trips way in advance, and the cost is prohibitive. I may be forced to spend it to get out from under RCI's grip on me. Too bad one of our resorts trades only in RCI. We also have one resort that has lousy trade power that trades in RCI and II. I use RCI for that one as well.
Grand Colorado charges fees, not French Quarter. We’ve only exchanged FQ once with II, and it’s a pretty week trader. I doubt we ever trade it again and are contemplating deeding it back to Spinnaker.

How would anyone know to scream about this? Does the front desk say "Sorry Cindy, I know you own here but we gave the best view to an exchanger and you get the dumpster view. Have a great stay."

They wouldn’t, unless they overheard it at the pool, which I have heard on occasion .

The point being that as an owner at a resort, most will expect to get the better view as an owner over exchangers.

OTOH, I have witnessed exchangers at the front desk complaining rather enthusiastically about the parking lot view they received. It’s only my imagination about how they, as an owner at a resort, would react if they were relegated to a parking lot view and they found out exchangers were getting the better/best views.

I know but in his scenario he was the exchanger, I thought he was replying to you, my mistake. Question remains valid.
You put my name in, making it invalid.

Relax, it is not about you. It was a hypothetical question, I could have put Tiger Woods or Cindy Lou Who and it still would have been a valid question.

If i exchange into Nanea, I’m happy with any room including view of parking garage and the $25/day parking fees.

Exchangers don't even have to pay for parking, which is another positive for Westin/ Marriott. Not yet, anyway.

You know, that is really my middle name. I asked my birth father why he and mom named me Cindy Lou. He didn't get it. He's ninety, so of course he doesn't watch those movies. Fortunately, my last name has never been Who. My grandkids already give me a hard time for my name. Grandpa thinks it's funny to tell them that is my name. I even had one granddaughter who wanted to see my driver's license. Truly, Cindy Lou is me.

There is another TUGger named Cindy Lou here, it's her TUG name. She hasn't been around for a while.
