Example of an offer for a Mexican timeshare presentation

I get promo emails from Westin / Vistana occasionally. I think it is because I stayed at the Westin Grand Cayman several years ago with my Mom and got on a mailing list of some sort.
This timeshare presentation promo is for The Westin Resort & Spa in Cancun.

I posted it in case someone wanted to see what an enticement for a timeshare presentation looks like.

We get these in the mail occasionally. The last one I recall was for the Westin Ka'anapali. We never go but it's nice to get invited I guess.

We got involved in timesharing in 1999, when we got a promo from the Marriott in Lihue for 5 nights/6 days for $499 (if I recall correctly), including rental car for 6 days, and $75 in resort certificates. No timeshare presentation needed. When we checked in, they offered us $75 more in resort certificates for doing the timeshare presentation.

We took the offer and the salesman totally sold us on timesharing. It actually wasn't a difficult sell, because the concept of timesharing fit nicely with what we were looking for. Fortunately, we discovered resale while we were still in Kauai, and rescinded the day that we got back home.
