Looking for hotels in Italy/France or Spain using starpoints and allowing 4 people per room ( 2 adults and 2 teenagers 17 yo and 15 yo).

Most only allow 2 per room.

If you can't get a room for 4 perhaps you can rent your timeshare and use the cash for an apartment rental.

The apartments at LondonPerfect.com, ParisPerfect.com and ItalyPerfect.com look great. I haven't tried them yet. I found London Perfect on slowtrav.com - see this link

Try asking at the starwood forum at flyertalk. There's lots of info there on the hotels.

If your're using points, or have plenty, you can book suites, you have to confirm how many are allowed however.

When I was making reservationf or London a couple of years ago SPG put me on hold while they called the hotel directly.

The Sheraton Santa Maria de El Paular, north of Madrid, has jr suites that will hold 4. The W Barcelona, when it opens, might have space for 4. Buena suerte!

We just got back from Paris and London. Stayed at Le Meridien Montparnasse using points. At first they would not let us book and had to get two rooms. I then "upgraded to a suite for 1000 points per night" the suite is basically a regular room with 2 double beds but it was still better than 2 rooms. In london we stayed in Sheraton Belgravia, a much more elegant hotel and upgraded to a suite, king bed and pull out queen bed good enough for the kids.It was difficult to find using points but just ask for an upgrade. You can't see it when booking online you have to call SPG.
