HVC: The Point at Poipu, 3 deeded weeks, 1 of which is in The Club.
In 2003, we were straddling the equator at the Ciudad Mitad del Mundo monument in Equador.

Sorry to break it to you, they were 'off' when they built the monument.
"according to readings based on the World Geodetic System WGS84, used in modern GPS systems and GIS products, the equator actually lies about 240 metres (790 ft) north of the marked line."

Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Sao Tome & Principe, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Maldives, Indonesia and Kiribati.

Yes, they did explain that to us. The surveying equipment wasn't very accurate in 1736.
