I can't find an EPlus FAQ if there is one.

I have an exchange late Oct. with E+ that I don't want. Can I cancel and not use up one of my 3 exchanges? Or do I need to exchange it to something I also won't use?

To get the maximum time remaining to exchange, should I wait until day 60, since I get one year from that date? Obviously after day 59 I am at a disadvantage.

You have one year from your October exchange date. Waiting won't extend the time. If you think you may find something you want before late August then wait, if nothing comes up then you still would want to make a dummy exchange for something for next Sept/oct as a place holder or you can do it now.

You can cancel and get a replacement week but you would have lost the benefit of having eplus. You might want to try that first and if you can't find anything then you could cancel and get the replacement week. The advantage of the replacement week done outside of flex is you can use it for an ongoing search. The downside is the new exchange fee.

Just don't let it slip into Flex, because once you do, it's stuck as a Flex week.

You must use 1 of your 3 exchanges if using eplus. You can cancel but this would effectively void your whole exchange and result in an additional exchange fee when reexchanging.

Find a unit as far out in advance as possible (1 year) at least 60 days out from your current exchange checkin date. This will burn one retrade, but maximizes the time to find a replacement.
