End of an era for an Orlando hotel

I see they plan to do away with the royal ducks. That's a shame as it is unique & fun to see the ducks in the lobby as well as the private suite they use at night. They say they are "retiring" to a farm, where other, older ducks have also gone, and will not be replaced. Another difference lost to corporate sameness. Too bad. h

I enjoyed my visit to see the ducks more than my visits to the mouse

That is one of our favorite Orlando hotels. Man what a shame. We love the duck walk :(

Cheers,
Mary Ellen

You Say Toe-Mah-Toe, I Say-Tow May-Tow.

For those in the Boston area, this hotel is pronounced "PEE-bod-dee, while the city of Peabody MA is pronounced "PEE-bid-dee".
I always heard the town name as PEEB-Dee, but I'm not from there so what do I know ?

Here's hoping the ducks really are retiring to a farm & not to a Chinese restaurant.
