Resorts Owned
Massanutten, Wyndham, WorldMark, Vistana, Marriott Los Sueños, Vidanta, Flora Farms, HGVC Max, and some independents
... but with no indication of availability. They all indicate you have to call because they can't be booked on line.

Sounds like it is working like the affiliates in HGVC. The availability won't be much since they only have like 6% of the inventory and the rest is based on Embarc exchanges.

I assume you are referring to what HGV owns. If this is the case, it doesn't mean that HGV will put that inventory into HgvMax. IMO, it is much more likely that HGV will put it for rentals on hilton.com

Yes and that is true...

Still not showing any availability for these, but I looked at the booking eligibility and all of the Embarc resorts, including those rebranded as HGVC, show a Club window of 1-276 days. Might just be growing pains as they adjust the system. Of course, I guess it's also possible that they're considered to be on the HGVC side of Max with that window and the Max 6 month window on the HVC side. Anyone not in Max seeing them? Or can someone with HVC Max look at the booking eligibility from that side?

Update: the Embarc resorts now list the room types and no longer indicate you need to call to book. Booking window is 7 to 186 days, which lines up better with Max booking window. I scrolled through the dates for Zihuatanejo as I had been looking at Mexico and saw no availability yet for that one. No availability showing for the first couple of months in Sandestin or Canadian ones either, but I didn't check all dates/room types.

On the annoying side, they put HGVC Zihuatanejo above La Pacifica on the list, meaning HGV Max owners have to scroll down past an Embarc resort with little to no availability to see the first legacy HGVC resort. It's not a choice driven by making it alphabetical as Cabo Azul (also a Max resort) follows La Pacifica. Same thing holds true in the Florida Gulf destination though I'm not sure it matters there as much given the availability of those resorts, although they do have the longer Club booking window. If I were designing or approving the interface, I'd put the native resorts with the longer booking windows and greater availability first.
