Yes - but if it is more than 2-3 days away - contact Owner Services. This is stated in something at WPORV regarding room and check-in. {read it last week - something referirng that desk people are not responsible for room location and to contact Owner Services - aka 'do not hassle' the front desk person - and why I was glad we were able to change our studio villa location during the Sat-Sat change over}
 
thanks for the info. i'll call owner services since its not till january, prior people said to contact the resort direct.

contact Owner Services now - and then at about 5 days out - you should get a note about your upcoming stay - contact the person on the letter/email
