I've seen it twice at least so far.

This email urged me to register my cell phone; so they can send me text messages. Here's the page on their website that explains what they want to do https://pages.email.wyndhamvo.com/cw/?PIN=&PID=&KWD= (you might have to log in to see it).

This might be a sneaky way they want to have your number to be able to call your cell phone at a resort for a sales meeting set up.

I just don't trust them at all. They won't be getting my number that way.

I have 3 cell phones --- FAMILY, must reach business people, A--HOLES.

Plus the A-H phone has no VOICE MAIL activated - text message or I answer the phone.

Oh, yeah, the A-H phone is a throw-away from Walmart - a TRACphone.

I signed up we will see, says 4 texts a month and can text stop to a # which they have to follow

Yeah, but now they have your number!

I dont see the downside in that. And even if I did, they have my number anyway. and so does every scam artist and PCC

I just bought a list of 100,000 Wyndham owners with name, address, phone numbers and email address...there are no secrets and there is no privacy any more.

Oh no! Next you will confess to owning a robodialer. Ron, just no! :ignore:

I won't give any of them my cell phone number. I know a lot of people only have cell numbers these days, but for me, that's a private contact and no solicitors allowed.

Gee, maybe you are on the DO NOT CALL list for the sales weasels.
They don't want to invite you to an update by accident. ;)
