Elara studio rooms differences

I am thinking of going down to Vegas in October and check out Elara. We are going to book a studio. I understand the studio SL3 and SLP are in the higher floors. Besides that are there any differences? Is it even worth paying more points for the higher floor room or better to just save the points to stay at the lower floor room.

All the same; the higher points just get you on a higher floor.

I would recommend trying to get a north facing view, which are the odd numbered rooms. You would have a view of the "Eiffel Tower" and other hotels.

There are some noise issues on the lower floors from emergency vehicles if you are facing south towards the pool and airport.

Only you can decide if the points are worth it. The lower points are for floors 4 to 39, which is a pretty big range. There aren't any rooms numbered 40-49. Then the numbers start again at 50. To me the difference between the view on 39 and 50 is not that substantial. But there is a huge difference between 4 and 39. It just depends on if you want to risk being on the 4th floor when you were perhaps hoping to be up higher.

When considering the view, you should think about how much you're going to be in the room. I know people who go to Vegas that just need a place to sleep about two hours, shower, and change clothes and I know people who go to spend time in the room and relax. If you're not going to be in the room much, the view isn't important, if you will be hanging out there a lot then it's probably worth it.

We have stayed at The Elara a few times in a studio, and they are nice rooms. I personally wouldn’t use the extra points for the higher floors, unless that is your preference. The only thing that could be a nuisance is some of the studios you have a main door that opens to 2 other doors, one for the studio and one for the 1-bedroom, which could be connected together if booking both rooms. The main door, if the person going through it isn’t considerate, can slam. Other than that, I hunk you’ll like the location.

This is true at the Flamingo, but I don't think the rooms are set up this way at the Elara.

I'm currently staying regular Studio in Elara, not Plus. When we checked in, there were no strip view room available so we got mountains vew on 28th floor, room number is even. I guess we could request earier but we didn't. Its nice and quiet. I don't mind to staying here.

But strip view with higher level feel more " Vegas"

We paid for higher floor junior one bedroom in April and got an amazing view on the 57? Floor I think at corner facing the strip. Was definitely worth it for me
