There are some balconies on the very top floors of Elara. What type of room do you have to reserve to get one?

The balcony floors are not currently available to reserve. Right now, the 57th floor is the sales center. Floors 58-60 are currently being upgraded to become rooms that will be apart of "Hilton Club". Floors 58-60 were only use for storage until now, this is what I was told many times at the "owners update " at the elara. Expect a huge point increase for these rooms

No , and the only way to those floors is through the VIP elevators. Those are the same elevators they use for the sales presentation. YES ,I tried to get to those floors and they are locked down

Are those the elevators adjacent to the fitness center? We noticed elevators separate from the regular elevator bank and I thought it said "VIP"

Thanks for asking this question and for the explanation. I never saw Elara mentioned with Hilton Club. I have a reservation there over the Christmas holidays. I’ll try to check it out.

It was my understanding that the cost of insurance killed the plan for balconies in the timeshare section (Vegas, gambling, suicide ……), but PoloTowers has balconies. I know at least one Tugger was sold a 4 bedroom with balcony, but then complained that they changed the deal and the unit would have no balcony (if my memory serves me correctly)

It’s been a long time since Westgate announced this build, and many things changed from the original concept. There was suppose to be a second tower with a fin connects by another tower on the east side. I always thought this was a flawed plan anyone wanted to enjoy the pool as it would have put the pool deck in the shade for the majority of the day.

That’s really interesting! I like Elara the way it is right now. The 2nd tower would really block the views from the inside of those towers. I wonder how many units would that have made. Elara is huge as it is now!

Anyone have updates on this? I was going thru the rules today and realized that Elara by HC was listed as a 50:1 conversion rate for converting the following year of points to HHonors. Did some web searching and found this thread; sounds intriguing. One of the biggest disappointments for me was buying Elara early on. I'm just stuck with a few points, and I'd rather be able to upgrade it (rather than just drop it). Wondering if I could upgrade to HC at Elara...?

I suspect that you could upgrade your current Elara deed to any bHC deed however it would require significant new $$$$.
