These resorts are supposed to be available to book with my Wyndham points, however they are showing no availability at all in February, 2026, or any date in 2026. They also show no availability on RCI for exchange or extra vacation. Does anybody know what's going on with this? I have stayed their twice before in January/February with my Wyndham points and it was very easy to book, even 45 days out. They are pretty nice resorts, particularly the one at the marina. I have messaged Wyndham and gotten no response. Thanks for your help on this matter.

El Cid is no longer affiliated with Wyndham or RCI. El Cid is now affiliated with Interval International.

Thank you! Someone should let Wyndham know because they're still listing it as one of their resorts. Curious to see if I'll ever get a response from them.

Oh came to say the same thing. I just booked a week with interval international. Have either of you been before? I'm looking for recommendations on what to eat and anything to do with my 2 and 3 year old boys.

I did get a response from Wyndham and they are insisting there is no change with the El Cid resorts. smh

Which resort did you book, flowerpower86? There are not as many restaurants near the Marina as there are at El Toro and Granada. Those two are right in the thick of the Golden Zone. Be sure to check out Panama, especially for breakfast. It's a favorite with locals and tourists. To get to the beach at Marina you have to ride on a boat shuttle. El Toro is right on the beach. I can't remember the location of Granada.

Your kids will love the aquarium in Mazatlan and they'll love the beach!

Thank you for thr recommendations. We did make it to the aquarium and they did love it. We ended up staying at la Castilla which is listed as el moro on interval. I think they put us in this one because we got a 2 bedroom unit. The pools here are amazing! With the ability to jump off a makeshift cliff into the water multiple slides and caves and bridges. Its huge!
