Has anyone used this group in the recent past? What is your opinion? Did you do the zipline - would you recommend it? Also, I have read some posts and it seems the price has increased about 20/pp? Anyone with information, suggestions or comments?

We are a family of 4 (2 boys ages 5 & 7 at the time).
Went on a tour with Gilmer from Edventures. It was the best day of the vacation even though the weather was on the chilly side.
Snorkled in a caved cenote, an open cenote (Yal-Ku Lagoon) and right from the beach in Akumal where we saw a barracuda fish, a stingray, and a sea turtle. They provided both me and my husband with wet suits (the water can be pretty chilly inside the cave). My boys had their own wetsuits that we had brought from home. Took us to eat at La Buena Vida which was fun. Right on the beach with a sand floor and treehouse structures that the boys had a blast climbing. Gilmer was very patient with my younger boy. He held his hand the whole time we were in the ocean. We felt very safe with Edventures and plan to use them again next month :)

We did the extreme zipline with vallata adventures. It was a blast.

You meet at Vallarta Adventures in Nuevo Vallarta and take a raft to a beach. From this beach you take a truck to the zip line course base. From the base you will ride a donkey to the highest zipline. The course includes zip lines and repelling down some waterfalls.

On the way back to the raft they stop at a tequllia distilery for a quick tour and some shots.
