Recently attended a Wyndham timeshare presentation
The new pitch is on Eddie Bauer
Does anyone know what this is about?
Even the salesman didn’t clearly understand, no shock there 🤣
He tried to claim that they were “timeshares similar to Big Cedar, bass pro”

Travel & Leisure is shuffling branding again...

Yes, there is an Eddie Bauer - Travel and Leisure connection

Appears to be hybrid Worldmark offering

Website has a "would you like to learn more" enrollment that goes to "Wyndham Vacation Resorts"

Website also references several Worldmark properties including Moab

Did you say you like Big Cedar to get the salesperson something to gnaw on before this pitch? @Pennytx

It's hilarious how they glom onto the slightest detail of what you say and find a reason to sell you something "like that."

Did you see Branson Meadows during this presentation? It's several steps down from Marriott's Willow Ridge. It's not even in the ballpark.

No it was actually yesterday in Williamsburg
It’s their new pitch I guess

Yes we did see Branson meadows when we were in Missouri
I actually prefer Westgate Branson Woods when staying in that area, although the Marriott there is definitely top notch and conviently located

So is Eddie Bauer Adventure Club resorts just some subset of Travel + Leisure (Worldmark) resorts? When you go to the Terms and Conditions, it is clearly T+L but they don't provide a lot of details on what the actual resorts are within the Adventure Club. It just seems they are looking for a new way to slap a long recognized and reputable brand name on their product to try and sell it as something great.

I’ve never understood why T&L doesn’t completely ditch the “Wyndham” branding from their actual resorts. Wyndham hotels have a reputation for being trash (very poor quality, cleanliness issues, disrepair, etc.). Meanwhile the T&L Wyndham timeshare resorts tend to be high quality (at least all of the ones I’ve been to so far).

I’ve wondered the same thing. The purchase of T+L was the perfect opportunity to drop “Wyndham” but they apparently don’t seem to think so.

I can remember before it was Wyndham . It was Fairfield. It is liked every 15 to 20 years a new name and theme are introduced. LOL
