eBay Fees for Listing Timeshare for Sale

I have researched this, and that it appears the only eBay fees for listing a timeshare for sale on eBay are shown the attached, which are modest. eBay makes it pretty clear in the case of real estate including timeshares they are only an advertising platform and not a sale agent, as the legal provisions on RE sales are significant and vary state to state - so eBay is NOT in the business of assisting a timeshare owner in selling their timeshare - they are only in the business of connecting sellers and buyers through the eBay Real Estate Inc platform - with seller and buyer completing the sale/buy transaction completely separate from eBay.

Does anyone have any direct knowledge/experience with this and can confirm the above?

You want to sell your Hyatt Maui? You should advertise it on Redweek and not use eBay. Chances of finding a person willing to pay for that week on eBay are slim to none for any price that will be worthy of a Hyatt Ka'anapali. I love the resort.

Not my first rodeo. My HVC Kaanapali week is listed on RedWeek for Sale and RedWeek handles the sale/purchase Closing process which eBay does not - eBay would be just another channel of advertising the sale, once connected with a potential buyer the sale/purchase would be handled by RedWeek. Was just looking to confirm eBay fees for advertising.

Have you tried listing it with a broker in Maui? While they will charge a broker fee they should also be able to get you a higher sales price. Syed with Advantage Vacation is one option.

Thanks. I'm listed on RedWeek, which within the last year or so partnered with Fidelity Reality - so RedWeek Resale listings have an assigned RE broker working for you - and the fees are not are high as an independent RE broker. eBay would just be another form of advertising the For Sale.
