We are staying at Barony Beach in the Port Royal plantation in July. I think the resort does have Krispy Kremes at the marketplace, but are there any "not to be missed" doughnut shops in Hilton Head? We usually have a light breakfast in the condo; however, the kids love being surprised with doughnuts one morning.

Signes Bakery on Arrow Road is awesome - Arrow is off 278 past Shipyard, but before you get to Sea Pines Circle. Yummy!!!! Fresh Market also has great baked goods (though pricey) and that is closer to you - mid-island.

Not a lot of coffee donut places on the island that I recall. There are several inexpensive places to eat breakfast. Stacks is one we like.

There are a couple of bakeries none I would rave about like the ones we have at home. Signes does have a nice pastry selection in the bakery case but I did not care for their onsite breakfast even though they are noted for it.

We love Fresh Market, It's a gourmet grocer better than Whole Foods and mid island. I buy some things ,pastries, meat and desserts and some prepared meals there but fruits and juices /water at Bilo or Piggly Wiggly.
