Now, or after 12/31/25?
On a recent stay I was in the poolside hot tub. People came and went. One of them struck up a conversation. Began typical, do you own Wyndham? How do you like it? As the conversation evolved, he talked about the program he used instead (not a Wyndham program). Problem was, he was using what I call "salesman buzzwords". Of course, it aroused my suspicion. Interesting conversation from there to say the least. Anyway, I just wanted to share the experience and caution owners that during this period of unknown, be more careful than ever! Don't fall victim to a scam or predator!!! Wait for an official announcement and ONLY reply to, and/or follow any directions provided. If you have any questions about any mail you receive, then question it. Call Wyndham directly to verify it is legit. If you think the information has an incorrect contact process (phone number, email, etc.) Call Wyndham directly instead to confirm! THEN, call their number in the information. Reading this board to see when letters are arriving can help assure you it is likely legit!

Irritated to no end about the lack of communication. It sets owners up to be scammed!

Edited to add (not a Wyndham program). Thanks for helping me clarify! 👍

I'm sorry but I don't understand why you are saying it's a scam. I've been involved in many resort hot tub or pool conversations involving timeshare systems and alternative travel hacks. Was there something specific that made the conversation a scam ?

I don't know if it was a scam or not. I was only sharing a recent experience. To be honest, I just blew it off until I read the threads today, and it came to mind. Thought a warning might be warranted.
