Has been receiving this for a while, every several days.

“Hello, we are calling from interval regarding your timeshare exchange membership. Please give us a call at 866-763-7576”.

Yes, but so do scammers claiming to be Interval.

Just don't answer the phone from numbers you don't recognize.

I have an OGS for a bonus certificate from when I deposited and have received several calls from II but the number was 800-822-2920. I pick up but it is always an automated message saying call us back. They never have a match and it's always a waste of my time calling them back. Last time the representative said that they always send an email also and I told her that I have never received an email with a possible match. So what is the usual protocol?

Yeah, I got one and answered, not sure if it was really them or a scam. They actually called while I was on vacation using an exchange. When I answered the person identified themselves as being from interval. They then started to go into what I assumed was some kind of pitch but then the guy noted “Oh, I see you’re on vacation right now using an exchange” and said he woulnd’t bother me and would have someone call back when we were not on vacation. Given that was information a scammer couldn’t have (probably), I assume it probably was interval, but the whole experience was weird.

If you Google search that phone number, it brings up this old thread.

Why don’t interval leave a detailed voicemail, text or email if they really have something good to offer.

Nowadays, all scammers seem to know you very well. I got scam calls acting like police, IRS, UPS, traffic violations and all had stories that could be connected to recent experience. I do not pick up any calls that I do not recognize these days.

Curious in the world of timeshare, how do people hide their private information these days? When I buy and sell more and more timeshares, it’s just inevitable.

I got a call from them trying to encourage me to renew Platinum. His offer wasn’t any different than I could get on the website.
