Divi Vacation Club (Pure Points) vs Fixed week

Hello, everyone. Wanted to get the groups opinion on a few things.

I am looking purchase a Divi Vacation Club membership (100k) points. Mainly so that my family and I can go to Aruba Phoenix resort. However, the reason I like the points system is it allows us to change up where we go in the Caribbean every other year. Also, we tend to not always go in high season to Aruba so we may have leftover points for a quick weekend somewhere.

My biggest concern with the points system vs a fixed/floating week is that the availability will be low... Does anyone on here have experience with booking Aruba or Caribbean properties using divi vacation club points? Thanks for any help!
