Disney slashes multiple transportation services at all US theme parks

As with most articles these days, you can skip the first three paragraphs of filler fluff to get to the stuff that matters.

I think the Disney World changes are very temporary and might not affect TUG users anyway as they're not the usual Interval International resorts.

But the cessation of the ART shuttle may be more consequential.

Interesting, you can rideshare to the parks? I had wondered about that.

Yes, and at Epcot, AK and DHS the rideshare drop off points are roughly as close to the park entrance as the Disney bus stops are. At MK, rideshare drops off at the TTC, which means a monorail or ferry ride is required to reach the park entrance.

Yes, and it works absolutely fantastic. We used it when we went last year. They drop you off right in front of the gate with the exception of MK. But even then, they drop you off in front of the TTC.

Yup. Pretty much every visit to WDW we do a split stay and walk to MK, EPCOT, and HS and rideshare to/from AK. And assuming we stay at BLT first, ride the long monorail to EPCOT on the day we switch resorts.

As a bus driver @ Disney World, I know for a fact ZERO of our Disney Transportation options will end. Occasionally, the monorail, boat, ferry, or the SkyLiner may break down, but it's always temporary. A bus or MinnieVan (Lyft) may fail, but we have backups so those will never have an issue.
