What is the difference between VPA Optimal Floating Points and LRTO Optimal Floating. I know VPA is Villa Preferred Access and is the “normal ones used for bookings at Vill del Palmar but don’t know what you can use LRTO for.

I book Loreto with VPA points. The only thing I've ever heard about a Loreto optimal floating week is when you exchange into II and reserve a low point week for the exchange to get a red week from II. Villa del Palmar Loreto has a decent travel demand index ( tdi) including part of summer in II. You could deposit summer week points ( 1700) instead of winter ( 2200) for a 1 bed unit and save 500 vpa points and have the same tdi is about the jist of it.

This is usually part of the sales pitch at Loreto and I haven't tried it.

LRTO optimal points are just VPA points in summer season that correspond to a high season in Interval International is what I think. So yes, you can book anything the VPA membership allows which include all of the Villa del Palmars.
