We stayed at Marriott Mountanside & bought a 3-night trial stay, and both room types are listed. Which is which?
Summit Watch is the Marriott resort that is right off of Main Street in Park City. It has parking, and there are also (paid) municipal lots and parking garages nearby. Because it's not a terribly large area, I'd consider all of Main Street, with lots of dining and shopping, to be walking distance, although it is on a hill (Summit Watch is at the bottom end) so that can be tiring.Thanks. I got it. What is the 'downtown' Park City resort? Parking? What's within walking distance?
Thanks. We stayed at Mountainside last Thanksgiving week. I thought we might try something different. Park City is an easy 4 hour drive. We have a cruise coming up in December, so I thought a getaway before that would be nice and was exploring the alternatives.Summit Watch is the Marriott resort that is right off of Main Street in Park City. No problem. While not directly on the slopes like Mountainside, if in season when you go (and if you are into skiing or snowboarding), it is a quick walk across a foot bridge to the town lift, keeping in mind that the runs coming back down to it are all blue, no greens. If you do want green runs, however, you can ride them down to the Mountainside base area and take the shuttle back to Summit Watch when you are done.Thanks. We are not skiers, so no problem there. My Mom grew up in Park City during the Depression. Her dad was the high school principal. They sledded down Main Street. It isn't like that now.No problem. We love Summit Watch. Fabulous location at the lower end of Main Street with everything right there. We don't ski so no need for Mountainside. SW has an underground parking garage that is very handy but as sponger76 said, Main street is completely walkable.Summit Watch is the Marriott resort that is right off of Main Street in Park City.
