There was a 2BR lockoff at SDO that a Tugger bought for a little over $1K that I think was an annual - deal posted on Starwood board. Prices have plunged so much that you'll probably have another crack at an EOY 1BR for that price. Not long ago $2,500 for a 2BR L/O would be a steal.

Me Neither.

i REALLY don't need another t/s.
I need another timeshare like a moose needs a hat rack.

Like a rooster needs knee sox.

Like a frog needs a hair net.

Like a fish needs a bicycle.

Like a toad needs a wet suit.

Like an elephant needs a garden hose.

Like a snake needs sneakers.

I am pretty sure we are already set for life on timeshares.

Actually it was up on buy it now for $199 when the auction started.

Actually that was for EOY and I just missed it.

Any way question I called sheraton I have a one bedroom yearly week 1-52
and they said they can only deposit the week that the timeshare is deeded to.
Is that correct, can I call and request a week and then deposit the week ?

Silkey, you should post that question on the Starwood board - people over there can answer that for you.

It depends - if you bought from the developer, Starwood reserves the right to choose the week you deposit. You just call up owner services and ask them to deposit a week for you.

If you bought resale, you have the right to choose the week you deposit, but Starwood may be reluctant to give you that right. I would try reserving a prime week, and depositing it myself online, without getting Starwood involved. For lots of info. about Starwood, come check us out on the TUG Starwood board! :hi:

I used to own there and I reserved a week and then banked it with RCI and I didn't have any problems.

That's because you banked it with RCI - Starwood only controls the deposits that go to II, because they have a contractual agreement with them.
