Resorts Owned
Diamond/ isle of bali
Hello, been an owner for 35 years at the original Isle of Bali in Florida. I have for the past 10 or more years deposited my 2 2 bedroom weeks and have good sucess with exchanging. I have never understood the rules for depositing these with intervale. Started in Dec. 2024 with doing the exchange and having them deposited with Interval ( Maint is paid in Dec. ) . I talked with a young lady and told her what i wanted and she said ok your all set and was not given any confirmation. I was always told it would take a week before i could see them on the interval web site ( really, 1 week for an electronic deposit ). My real problem in 2023 was they put in a 1 bedroom that was not mine and almost lost my 2 bedroom, what a fiasco that was. so I get a 1 week confirmation for my home resort in Florida (not what i wanted ). I called on Dec. 27 and could not get anyone all day, on hold wait time is 20-30 minutes, then still oin hold your wait time is 30-40 minutes and again a wait time given 40-50 minutes.
no one ever answered. did the chat on HGV web site and was waiting again then it disconnected. Now Jan. 2 I spent all day with the same wait, wait, wait. Finally I spoke to a gentleman who had helped with the 1 week fiasco in 2023 and he pulled up my info and saw it. He said he could not give me 2 weeks as the week points are now 11000 for a 2 bedroom and 9000 for a 1 bedroom. so i paid 2800 in maintenance fees for this Are you kidding me . also my home week is at the end of february so it's out of the deposit window ? I bought points years ago but they still use my original buy dates. So what is the real method of depositing into interval since the maintenance fees are not due until Dec 31 of each year. I have to pay them in June and deposit by Dec. ? Did the popints for units increase and no one told us ? I paid for 2 2 bedroom weeks I don't get it. can someone explain to me how this really works.
thanks,
Rickey with the headache
