DEX EU increased the tier requirements by season for many properties but left Craig Lodges the same so, in essence, they have devalued Craig Lodges weeks. Here is a comparison of a sampling of the properties between last year's tiers and this years tiers by season.

2BR Platinum, 11,200 HGV points= Peak season in CL remains Tier 6; so NO devaluation for those.
1 BR Platinum, which was & remain Tier 4 are not as good a trader, so best move is to get 2 BR in place of 1 BR, and still all good...
2 BR Platinum also hits the sweet spot on MF/pt vs 1 BR Platinum, so def the way to go CL route....
Kudos to everyone, esp @HuskerATL to have DEX EU & CL fix the CL peak weeks in DEX EU!

yes, the Tier 6 weeks are looking better and better...especially if this trend continues.

But, if you look at other managed properties, they are still good for Tier 4 exchanges so it just depends on what you want to use. I would not want to exchange a Tier 6 for a Tier 4, you are downgrading. So, if you know that you are going to use Tier 6s, then it would be good to own a Tier 6 but if you are going to use a variety, a Tier 4 may still be better...and just pay the upgrade fee when you use a Tier 6.
