We were assigned unit "OBST" at Desert Spring Villas I for an II Exchange. What does "OBST" mean?

I think this is probably some code assigned by II. I have a "DBDB" unit assigned for trade and I assume it means double bed double bed. Maybe yours means one bedroom, s, t... not sure about the s, t....Ok are you getting a one bedroom?

Yes, it is a one bedroom.

About one or two weeks before you go there, call them at the resort (760-779-1200) and ask for the unit you may like to have, like upstairs, downstairs, smoking or non-smoking or close to the club house or a pool. If you like upstairs, make sure that you can climb the stairs with your luggage because there are no elevators!

To us, a view over the golf course and beautiful mountains is more important but then you are far away from the clubhouse or a pool. There is a shuttle bus that goes around every half hour from the units to the club house and to the hotel too. Here is a map of the resort.

Don't try to make it an acronym.
For Desert Springs a DBDB is a Studio and a OBST is a 1-bedroom.
The two bedroom is ZZAA.

I thought all Villa I units came with spa privileges. The pool at the spa is a special delight and its fun to use all the spa amentities.
