Hi everyone, I am fairly new to Wyndham and I have a question about depositing points into RCI. I have 34,000 Wyndham points that I can't use this year and was thinking about depositing into RCI. If I deposit next years points (300,000) with RCI, will they be added to the 34,000 points I deposit this year to yield me 334,000 points for trading? If so, what would be the expiration date on the total of the points? Thankyou, Sue

Yes you will have all 334k available to trade with. they are good for 2 years from the date of deposit..the 34 will drop off 2 years from now, and the 300 two years from next week.(if thats when you make the deposit)

Sue Ron is correct.
But if you arent useing your 300K Wyndham points next year I think it would be better to "bank" them with wyndham, you have to do this before the start of your next year. I think its a $39 fee but you wont have to pay the RCI exchange fee later. and you have a few years to use them

I agree, banking them is better. Deals for trading points with RCI is now rather limited.

Hi Sue,

I guess it is a moot issue for you now since Dec 31 has come and gone but I just wanted to clarify that the previous 2 posts were suggesting "banking" them. I agree with the advice, but to avoid any confusion, what they are referring to is called "pooling" in Wyndham-speak...placing your points in the points credit pool within Wyndham. Valid for 3 yrs from date placed in pool.
