Just wondering if it's possible to have something delivered to a Wyndham resort. We're traveling for about 30 consecutive days this summer staying mostly at Wyndham resorts and it would be helpful if I could have a Fed-Ex delivered about mid-way through.

I see that USPS has general mail delivery, but I never did that and was wondering if anyone has experience with this service. I see that the PO in Flagstaff accepts general mail delivery, but just don't want my delivery going astray.

I'm also wondering if anyone has recommendations about a business center in Las Vegas or Flagstaff or San Francisco. I don't anticipate having to get work done during the trip, but just in case, it would be helpful to have access to printers, faxes, etc.

I order stuff all the time (mostly from Amazon) shipped to hotels or timeshares. Just call and confirm the address to have stuff shipped to (sometimes it's a back office instead of the main address) and if it's a higher end place (mostly urban locations with bell services) you might ask if there is a fee to receive packages.

Make sure to watch tracking. Some won't notify you when the package arrives.

Some of the people I travel with have their golf clubs fed-ex'ed to the resort when we go to Palm Aire, and have never had a problem.

Thanks for the responses! I've never had anything delivered to a hotel or timeshare before, so I'm glad to hear that this is possible. I not sure why I was thinking that Wyndham had some policy against deliveries.

I've done it a bunch at Disney, but never a Wyndham.

Some are adding a fee but overall it is allowed.

My wife and I always try to fly with just carry on luggage. We manage to do this because we always use USPS to ship to the first resort, then midway through the week, ship to the next, etc. Also, we mail what we have purchased or no longer need for the trip back to our home.

We are usually shipping 3-4 flat rate boxes per week. For us, this is much better than dealing with and having to check extra luggage.

The resorts have always held our boxes until we arrive.

As Canadians there are so many great things Americans can order on line but by the time they ship to Canada you have to really want it to pay the price. Usually around 2-3 weeks before a trip I ask if anyone wants anything and have it shipped to where I am staying in a resort. I always call the resort first and ask if this will be a problem. Never had anyone say no.

More Common Than Ya Think

We've done it many resorts, many hotels, when traveling. Success is about communication, accuracy, timing & tracking. Know what the delivery windows are and give the receiving location the courtesy of pre-notification. Most higher-end hospitality is used to handling this kind of service for their guests.
