Where can I find definitions of acronyms, abbreviations, and terms used in various posts? When I read a post on forums, resort reviews, and owner discussions I see acronyms I don't understand.

There is not any such document/listing that I am aware of on TUG. (TUG veterans can correct me if I'm wrong.) It is mostly knowledge gained over time of seeing posts and figuring it out based on the context of the post, or simply by asking what the acronym means. Most TUG posters are friendly and will explain it, some are not-so-friendly. On TUG, like most things in life, people look for shortcuts when they type a post and make an assumption that everyone reading the post will understand what the acronym they're using represents. (I.e. in the Club Wyndham forum, TOTG is used by a lot of people posting in that forum to reference Towers on the Grove timeshare.)
Travel Demand Index. This is used by Interval International (II) to define the demand for the resorts in a particular area (could be a city or region). There is a calendar attached to each resort in II that shows the TDI for the different weeks.

Thank you. TDI-Travel Demand Index at Interval International is like TPU(?) at RCI? May a points owner or weeks owner access the calendar for each resort? I'm in the process of buying Vacatia Grandview -122,000 RCI points and WorldMark 22,000 credits. How and where may I search for the value/power of my points in RCI and II?
In Interval International, timeshare weeks have trading power just like they do in RCI (TPU in RCI). However, Interval International does not publish what the trading power is!
Interval assigns a Travel Demand Index value to geographic areas where timeshares are located. This is simply relative demand to stay in that area verses the weeks of the year. Below is the TDI table for the Branson Missouri area. Note the difference in demand for Jan/Feb weeks verses June/July/August weeks.
For any timeshare week, we can assume its trading power is a function of:
The TDI value
Resort quality
Unit size (hotel room, studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, 4 bedroom)
The quantity of points needed to be "spent" for a particular timeshare week is a measure of the trading power for that week. For example, we can assume that very few points would need to be spent to stay in Branson in February at a resort with limited amenities in a hotel room size unit.
