I own a deeded week in Hilton Head with Spinnaker.
My wife isn't on the deed. We don't remember why we did that 25 years ago.

Should I list the timeshare in my revocable trust document - to go to wife with contingency of one of my kids?
Or do I just leave it out and let my estate wrestle with Spinnaker?

Steve

Does your wife or kids want it ? If no one wants it get rid of it so no one has to deal with it later.

My wife and I and some kids use it every year.
Fees are reasonable and it is a float week so we can move it around.
Wife would keep it as long as she is able. One of my 4 adult kids would probably take it over eventually.

Since you want it then retitle it either in the trust or with family members.
Lusting something in your trust only works if the ownership is titled in your trust.
