We deeded back two units in 2021 and 2023. Marriott did not charge anything at that time. We felt the process was fairly easy. We had to provide some original documents but the process went smoothly and took maybe 6 months…

We deeded back 2 of our weeks (St Kitts), as the MFs were getting increasingly excessive compared to all of our other weeks around the World.
The process worked OK, although it was very slow and needed a fair amount of chasing up by me.
We did have to pay some $100+ to have our Ownership documents notarised.
I am not sure if that was because they were St Kitts weeks or because we are UK not US residents or… so whether that would apply to everyone or not?
