I talked to my brother who has often parked an RV here at Ocean Walk (but it's been a year or two). The Hilton used to allow oversized vehicles but he doesn't think they do anymore. He would go across the street to the lot that Ocean Walk sends you, too. You can talk to the people there (he said there are offices over there). If you go in and talk to them, they'll help you out. They parked him in a gated lot behind the Peabody Convention center for $10-$30 per night, depending on if there were events. But usually $10 per night. When you want to go in or out, if there isn't someone at the gate, talk to the people in the office and they'll get someone to open the gate for you. He said they are super nice and easy to work with.
We are at Ocean Walk now, too. Super easy checkins and they've been awesome dealing with our large group. We are on a few floors but pretty close and all in the North Tower. Rooms satisfactorily clean (a little concerning an obviously dirty coffee table, so we wiped everything down extra careful).
Not much mask wearing, other than staff. Interesting one man, with his family of 5 criticized me for wearing a mask on the elevator. Apparently I was supposed to stay home so he could call me a sheep or living in fear, etc.
Some of us got here late Saturday night so checked in side, of course rooms were ready. And we were in the South Tower for a night til our 4BR Pres was ready (as planned) the next day. We were given cards for our South Tower rooms and now wrist bands. Didn't care at that point. We pre-registered for the rest of our rooms and they texted when they were ready. We did not use the express checkin although I saw it was available in the garage. When you pick up your keys, they direct you to the Wynners Circle. A bunch of kiosks located in the lobby of the North Tower. There you are directed to one particular kiosk that then directs you to another one. I assume that is where they determine if you go to a special one for the do not tour people, versus kiosks that try to get you to sign up. That was my guess. We are do not tour, got our wrist bands in record time and were on to our rooms.
* No more VIP checkin, just get in line. Definitely recommend use your early checkin priviledges, it got crazy after 4pm (lines, elevators, etc).
The North/South Tower division is evident, but not too bad. The signs are up. Things to note:
* Parking - South Tower - gets hang tag, card attached to get in and out of parking garage
- North Tower - your wrist band gets you into the garage (you also get a hang tag)
- We've had no trouble parking
* Fitness Center - Must get a card for access - From the South Tower Ocean Walk Condominium Association checkin desk. (The old VIP checkin desk).
* I think that's all the big stuff. I'll write more when I get home. The beach is calling and wanted to post the parking information in case it's helpful for you.
Have a great visit, This is our number one favorite spot.
