We are headed to Ocean Walk very soon and had a couple questions. For anybody that has been there recently. How was check in. We got a text stating possibly expect longer times for rooms to be ready because the worker shortage and covid. Just wondering if this is the case.

Also on parking. We are driving a 9ft high conversion van which won’t fit in the garage. I called to ask if any other options. They mentioned a parking garage across the street. That could probably accommodate but would have to pay to park. I checked the garage and looks like it’s 7’2” clearance as well. Their is a Section for Buses only but not sure we can park there. Does anybody on Here recommend any parking or who has possibly been in this situation. Thank You in advance.

Last winter check-in went quickly, but that was drive thru check-in. With your vehicle you'll have to park and check-in inside. As for parking, how long are you staying? Long-term parking at the airport and take an Uber back to the resort is an option.

I can’t help with your parking options but we stayed there in June and our checkin experience was fantastic. There was a concierge outside the entrance that met us at the car. He asked for the reservation name and told us to proceed to the kiosk in the North garage and we would be checked in while remaining in our car. He met met us at the kiosk, checked us in, gave us temporary room keys and we were on our way. I had to go to the customer service desk the next morning to get the arm bands and refuse the “breakfast” invitation.

Check in was quick in a garage. Had to wait for room for a bit. Got parking garage pass in one stop. Bracelets were given after long time saying no we are not interested in presentation at another stop.

We had 2 reservations. One was city view. Extremely clean beautiful unit. Thanks to one of our ftiends here who helped to get this.

Another reservation we got an oceanfront room. Yay. Amazing view. But. Some kind of bug inside sink. Lots of tiny flies. DIRTY!!!!! Tub had something like red wine drops. Shower hair. but I will not complain, good that had wipes and some cleaning supplies. So cleaned good myself. Bed sheets were clean and good so i am good.

This was first time in years that we had super quick check in. But first time that unit was not cleaned properly.

Amazing weather and everything is great here. Hope you will have a great time :)

I talked to my brother who has often parked an RV here at Ocean Walk (but it's been a year or two). The Hilton used to allow oversized vehicles but he doesn't think they do anymore. He would go across the street to the lot that Ocean Walk sends you, too. You can talk to the people there (he said there are offices over there). If you go in and talk to them, they'll help you out. They parked him in a gated lot behind the Peabody Convention center for $10-$30 per night, depending on if there were events. But usually $10 per night. When you want to go in or out, if there isn't someone at the gate, talk to the people in the office and they'll get someone to open the gate for you. He said they are super nice and easy to work with.

We are at Ocean Walk now, too. Super easy checkins and they've been awesome dealing with our large group. We are on a few floors but pretty close and all in the North Tower. Rooms satisfactorily clean (a little concerning an obviously dirty coffee table, so we wiped everything down extra careful).

Not much mask wearing, other than staff. Interesting one man, with his family of 5 criticized me for wearing a mask on the elevator. Apparently I was supposed to stay home so he could call me a sheep or living in fear, etc.

Some of us got here late Saturday night so checked in side, of course rooms were ready. And we were in the South Tower for a night til our 4BR Pres was ready (as planned) the next day. We were given cards for our South Tower rooms and now wrist bands. Didn't care at that point. We pre-registered for the rest of our rooms and they texted when they were ready. We did not use the express checkin although I saw it was available in the garage. When you pick up your keys, they direct you to the Wynners Circle. A bunch of kiosks located in the lobby of the North Tower. There you are directed to one particular kiosk that then directs you to another one. I assume that is where they determine if you go to a special one for the do not tour people, versus kiosks that try to get you to sign up. That was my guess. We are do not tour, got our wrist bands in record time and were on to our rooms.

* No more VIP checkin, just get in line. Definitely recommend use your early checkin priviledges, it got crazy after 4pm (lines, elevators, etc).

The North/South Tower division is evident, but not too bad. The signs are up. Things to note:
* Parking - South Tower - gets hang tag, card attached to get in and out of parking garage
- North Tower - your wrist band gets you into the garage (you also get a hang tag)
- We've had no trouble parking
* Fitness Center - Must get a card for access - From the South Tower Ocean Walk Condominium Association checkin desk. (The old VIP checkin desk).
* I think that's all the big stuff. I'll write more when I get home. The beach is calling and wanted to post the parking information in case it's helpful for you.

Have a great visit, This is our number one favorite spot.

Pretty sure they mean in the entrance area / parking garages. If you go across the street (where Ocean Walk sends you if you have too many cars for your room), talk to the people there (not Ocean Walk) about parking your oversized vehicles.

Thank you for all the reply’s. Greatly appreciated. Hopefully this will help any future owners who have oversized vehicles. They did send me Over to the parking garage garage on Ora St. the 1st level is for oversized vehicles. Just had to drive around the low yellow clearance bar. Also at Oceanwalk front desk I got an over fill/oversized parking piece of paper to give to the parking garage attendant so that I didn’t have to pay for parking for the week. But I was the only car in our party. If there was more. I would of had to pay for parking
