I just realized that our 1780 club point will be moved to restricted club use in 1 day and really need valuable advice urgently to maximum any value.

I think that we can try to reserve with interval with these Hyatt points. However, we never reserved with interval before. How does it work? I just played around for 10 minutes and got confused. How to move Hyatt points to Interval to book? What is the optimal strategy? Use all 1780 points in one booking or separate into 2 bookings? I should push the reservation date as far out as possible, right? By adding EPlus, we can gain another 1 year of delay usage to find a suitable vacation? I noticed that some weeks need 1550 points, and others ask for 1200 points. Are week point values determined by season/size?

Or I can let the restricted use period kick in by doing nothing, then we are forced to book with 60-day of check-in window and points expire in 04/16/2026?

I am under lot of pressure to save these points with 1 day left. Please help if you can.

You seem to have a firm grasp on your options - book Interval today and or spend LCUP points. The third option, which is really a long shot, is to call HRC asap and see if they would move the points to EEE which would give you 2 years to spend them. The normal cutoff is 4 months ago so you missed that - but you never know unless you try.

And yes, points required do vary by season in Interval now. They did not used to. We got a devaluation when that happened.

LCUP points can be spent for HRC or HPP inventory reservations 60 days out or less but with inventory tends be to gone.

You can only book what you see now in Interval because your points won't be able to be used in Interval once they are LCUP - you need to spend them today. You have to option to add EPlus and change the reservation later - but it would get tricky as if the points requirements change. If less points are required for a change, the extra points will get returned as LCUP. If more points are required for the change, that won't work because you would have no points to pull from ( i am making the assumption that you have no EEE points since you said you have never used Interval).

If i was in your predicament, I would call Hyatt about EEE just in case. When/if you are rejected - I would book with Interval and EPlus somewhere today spending as many points as i could and that would give you time to do a retrade (basically a year i believe) with the same number of points or lower.

Right now, i see multiple 2br units at MPB at 1550 points next Sept (hurricane season). I would book the latest one. They i have the option to find another lower season 2br later or a higher season 1br (and return a few points.

I am also operating on the assumption that if you book today, they will honor the points going to Interval. Interval does not pull points immediately - in fact it will let you reserve for more than you have. It would likely be pulled tomorrow - and I assume they would honor that but their system may reject if since the points would be LCUP tomorrow. But i would call today and get Hyatt to book it (interval optoin) and ask if the points transfer can happen today.

Good luck.

Thank you. @ GTLINZ.

It is too late now. I played around last Thursday and could not think straight about maximizing the flexibility and did not receive any response from the Hyatt community. We can only use at LUCP for the next 6-month and only time period is later March to middle April 2026.

Sorry, I did not notice it was Thursday a week ago.

Good luck with your LCUP points. You can do searches without available points closer to 60 days out and be on at midnight to book 60 days out to increase your chances.

You can also make booking for friends and family.
