is it true that you cannot pool your points within your first year? i recently became a ff member with 2008 points so would my first year be my 2008 points or my 2009 points? i'd like to deposit my '08 points in rci and use them for a '09 reservation, pool my '09 points to use with my '10 points, is this possible?

thanks, jean

Your first year is 2008. The rule is true for non VIP owner, since you can only pool before use year start.

As to your plan, yes, you can do it, 2009 is your 2nd year, and it has not yet start.

If you purchase from the Developer then that is the rule.

If purchased resale then it is not applicable and you can pool prior to a use year.

Besides, as Jya-Ning points out it doesn't apply to your situation, and you can.
