Credit Pool vs. Regular Use Year usage hierarchy

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I wanted to make a reservation for this year (first time doing so - new owner) and I have credit pooled points and regular use year points.

When I go through the online process, there is no option to choose which is used first. My question is which will Wyndham use first if I make a reservation online - my regular use year points (which were insufficient on their own), or the credit pool points?

Points that will expire first will be used unless you call and tell them to use your credit pool. If you reserve online, you can call that same day and have them switch the points used to credit pool points.
