Does anyone have any info on this location.

Noticed nothing in the sticky files.

Trying to decide if it is worthwhile to split my trip to a few days here just to be closer drive to Inverness, a few days in Craig, and then picking up a couple of hotel nights in Edinburgh. Been to EDI before, so I am just planning on visiting some specific things I missed last time.

We almost booked there but decided to stay in Inverness instead since we had limited time and wanted to go on early tours of Isle of Skye and drive to the other end of Loch Ness. Tours meet at the river. The river area of Inverness is charming with local restaurants and river walking. The hotel in Inverness on the river was old and meh but it was close, clean, and good enough for 2 nights to rest our heads when we were not out and about.

Coy is still a distance outside of town so would add to the travel time for these tours. But if you only plan to visit Inverness, it should be fine.

I'm planning on staying in Fort William for some west coast sight seeing. Just looking like Craig is longer commute, and thought Coylum would be shorter.

IMHO Craig is too far. Windy road.

Ft William is a good choice for west side.

We stayed at Craig. Very nice but too remote from Edinburgh and Inverness for day trips. Coy seems doable but never stayed.there.

Any place in Scotland is fine if there's a distillery nearby...

Some years back we stayed with relatives in Old Meldrum, fairly middle of nowhere. But the Glen Garioch distillery was walking distance, so all was good :)

Cheers.
