Costa Linda Aruba questions

I am considering renting a week at Costa Linda this June or August.
The resort looks fabulous. However, I've never been there, and from pictures, it looks like it is set back from the beach or across the street. Can anyone tell me if it is right on the beach?
Is it nice, and how are the pool and beach areas?
Anybody been to the Divi Aruba/Tamarin?
Which is nicer, Costa Linda or Divi Tamarin?

We stayed at the Costa Linda in March. I'd go back in a heartbeat! You have to walk through the pool area to reach the beach, but it is a very short walk and quite lovely. Your room view will depend on how high you are--we were on the second floor and due to the growth of the trees we did not have an ocean view from our balcony--unless the breeze separated the palm trees. We never had a problem securing a tiki hut on the beach, or a lounge chair by the pools. The only thing I would change about the pool area--they close the hot tubs at 9:00 p.m., which is way too early! I haven't stayed at the Divi so can't compare, but I think you'd have a hard time beating the Costa Linda. It's a great resort.
 
Hi - My wife and I own at Costa Linda. We love it. In September this will be our 7th trip in 8 years at Costa Linda. The beach is fabulous. The resort is kept in tip-top shape. There are 2 restaurants on site, upscale gift shop, exercise room, beauty salon, tennis courts, and also a pizza shop on the property. It is a gold crown resort all the way. You will have a great time at Costa Linda. Have fun and have a great vacation.
 
We have rented at the Costa Linda the last two years. The property is right on the best beach if you like lots of room and NO problems with getting the spot you want. The pool is large and nicely surrounded with hot tubs. We have walked over to the Divi Tamarin and don't feel that the beach area or property compare. My only comment would be if you are looking for a property with lots of activities and bars and crowds the Costa Linda might disapoint you. Look towards the properties in the high rise area where there are more people and activities.
