looked in the review section but it hasn't been reviewed since 2002. can anyone speak to the COSTA DEL SOL IN LAUDERDALE BY THE SEA.it is an RCI resort and we are thinking of trying for a trade in 2011.

It was renovated after being damaged by Hurricane Wilma. It looks nice on the outside and it should still be nice on the inside. Location is great, about two blocks or so from the square where is lot of activity and free outdoor concerts and street dancing on weekends. The resort is right on the beach and I doubt it has a lot of actvities other than the beach and pool. If you want a a taste of old Florida and still be close to Ft.Lauderdale, this would be a nice choice. LBTS is my hometown and I would be glad to answer any questions you have on the area.
