Our son asked for a cordless digital frame for Christmas. I have no idea where to start. Anyone have experience with these? Suggestions?
Thanks, Kathy

I read the initial description of the Kodak frame. It sounds fantastic. I was almost tempted to email my brothers and sisters, and suggest chipping in on one for my parents. With the email & facebook feature, basically anyone (with access) could send them new pictures whenever they wanted to. [They got a digital frame once before, but it's a PITA to refresh it with current pictures for them.]

However, reading the reviews, it sounds like it's not quite ready for prime time. Although there's an administrator page for it through a Kodak website, it sounds like frame to web communicate isn't up to snuff. A big complaint was, you can send a picture to it, but there's no way to confirm it got there. A commentor was hoping the website would be a good remote admin page for it (like me, he wanted to have it in his parents house), but it just didn't seem to work well.

I might keep an eye on it. Sounds like with a signifcant firmware update, it could be a great device.

Thanks to the recommendation, I began eyeing this product as well. Price dropped from $160 to $100 on Amazon today... Still thinking...

Shows as $110 now. Did it go up from $100? Either way, I'm also thinking about it, figuring maybe better to buy it now, and wait out possible fixes to the issues.

Nuts! Just decided to order it, now it's up to $130! I'll pass for now.

I didn't realize Amazon had just dynamic pricing.
