I cannot find the original deed. (Maybe I was not sent one.) But, I have a copy of it. Can I use that to close on the sale of the timeshare? Thanks for your help.
The original deed isn't necessary for you to continue your onership rights or to sell the unit. Your ownership is evidenced by the County Recorder's Office where the deed was recorded. The title company will have no problem giving your new buyer clean title with or without the original deed.
