Or resort is offering an opportunity to convert our fixed weeks to points. The resort would pay the enrollment costs of $299 for standard and $349 for platinum. We own 3 weeks. Two have a value of 78500 points each and one with a value of 47800 or a total of 204800.
We have always used or rented our weeks and have no familiarity with RCI or RCI points. Could someone let me know whether this is worth considering and if so what questions to ask. We are ready to try other resorts. Thank you

If you use your wee$ks then no need to convert. If you decide to use your week you would have to make a reservation prior to 12 months otherwise you would be looking at a fee to reserve. You would also be paying a rci membership fee of about $100 per year and if you don't reserve your unit prior to 12 months you would not be allowed to rent it out as anything reserved less than 12 months is considered an exchange even at your home resort.

It was also my understanding that they were charging $2000-$4000 per week for the conversion not just waiving the actual enrollment costs.
