Construction near WKORV

Does anybody know what the construction is just South of WKORV? Is it part of the Westin property? Big parking garage next to highway and a big building or two, along with a big crane tower, west of of the parking garage.
 
Are you talking about the new phase that is being built 2 lots north of the Westin, or is there something on the south side as well? On the south side, there is a public park, and then a small empty lot, then a private home, then another small empty lot.

I don't know? We first saw it on a sunset cruise the other night, but nobody on the boat knew anything about it. Yesterday, we drove by the Westin on our way to the Maui Dive Shop in Kahana and saw it from the highway, but didn't see any signs. It sure looks like it would be part of the Westin, but I didn't think there was any vacant property South of WKORV.

FYI: We've been at MOC the last week with one more week to go, so we are fairly South of the Westin TS and Black Rock, next to the Hyatt.
 
Looking from the the ocean, the construction would be to the left of the resort - from the highway, to the right of the resort.
 
you mean north of WKORV/N (got south-north backwards) - sailing in the channel Lanai/Molokai are to the west, and Maui to east. that put Nanea to the north of WKORV/N
that is Nanea - aka WKORVNN

OP is definitely talking about Nanea (north of WKORV). There are two very large cranes there.

We left yesterday and walked both north and south from WKORV multiple times while there. Syed posted some photos last week showing those cranes.

We used to call it WKORV-NN, the first time around.

I guess it's actually Westin Nanea Ocean Villas - they dropped "resort" on this one, so WNOV.
