We own 2 consecutive weeks in mid February at Coconut Plantation and have already reserved them. But we remain anxious about Covid as we are in our 70s and would have to fly. So we are considering renting those 2 weeks. The unit is a 2 BR lockoff. Does Hyatt offer a service to rent for owners? Does anyone have experience renting diamond weeks there? How does renting through TUG work? Any suggestions welcome.

If you try to rent through Hyatt their take is around 40%, if they rent it, and there is no guareentee they can or will !! Then they want to chrge you a cancelation fee to get out of the rental contract with them when you see its not going to rent. (That was the way it was the last and only time I let Hyatt try to rent my units,, but that was before Mariott ownership. Maybe things have changed so check with Hyatt ) Probably Best to market it yourself on TUG and Red week, or through your own efforts somehow.

You should have no problem getting renters for this peak time—unless we are in a post-election civil war. Do not pay Hyatt to rent it for you. But don’t wait until you can post it on the last minute board here.

I rent my Hyatt weeks on redweek.com They have at least 10 times as much response as TUG (Sorry Brian) I recommend you list them on both sites.
You should be able to get at least $2,800, usually over $3,000. Hyatt price is over $5,000 when they have high demand weeks available.

I have return guests and my weeks are easy to rent because the resort is so small and the Huyatt Regency increases amenities and awareness. [Ad deleted - not permitted in discussion forums.]

Hi, I own a deeded week at Hyatt Coconut Cove. I am interested in renting it next year. I know i can put it on RedWeek, what do i have to do to let Hyatt know i want to rent it? What steps do i need to take in general for the rental process. Thank you....

When you rent your week, you purchase a "guest certificate" and add the renters names. Nothing else.

And you are only allow to rent your HRPP (home) week. You cannot make a points reservation elsewhere or for less than your full week.
