CMS announces premium and deductible raises for Medicare

A couple years ago, CMS raised the premium for Medicare Part-B significantly, mainly going on the assumption that the new Alzheimers drug would become available with significant cost to the government. That was met by significant backlash, so they pulled back on it. This week, the new rates were announced, mainly due to rising healthcare costs in general.
