I have booked at two Club Wyndham properties in the past three months. I am on a new hassle list. Both times they threatened that Club Wyndham has been bought by Travel and Leisure. They went on to say that on December 31st the Club Wyndham website will discontinue. Is there any truth to thier satements?

No truth what-so-ever - just typical daze and confuse sales tactics by the sales reps and concierge/marketing reps. Travel & Leisure has nothing to do with the timeshare division - which is Wyndham Destinations - which is an independent subsidiary of T&L in reality. Sales reps have been using the T&L acquisition to daze and confuse unsuspecting timeshare owners ever since Wyndham Destinations acquired T&L in Jan 2021. Stop attending sales updates - there's no reason to do so really. If a timeshare sales rep's lips are moving - they are almost always lying on some level.

EDIT: If you are truly on the no hassle list - then the marketing concierge reps shouldn't be pestering you to attend sales updates either.

No, these are just lies by the marketing staff to try to convince you to attend a sales meeting (at which they will not even address any change in website, because it was never a real thing).

I got a call a couple of days ago from one of the on-site marketing people here at Royal Vista. The pitch was I needed to become a "priority" owner, which would allow me to book a WorldMark unit without using Club Pass. This would apply at resorts that had both CW and WM units. My response was that something is wrong if a VIP Founders and Presidential Reserve owner is not a priority owner.

There seems to be no end to the reasons one must attend a presentation, regardless of what they call it.

Ah yes the tried and true "priority owner" line. I've heard variants on this same line ever since becoming an owner in 2018. There's no such thing in reality. It's just a sales ploy to make people feel important and to attempt to convince them to attend a sales update. As you said, there's no end to the list of excuses used to get timeshare owners to attend sales presentations solely for the purpose of attempting to convince them to buy more points.

The marketing rep understood that we were not going to purchase additional points. If I'd been quicker witted, I'd have said fine, in that case I'll come but my wife won't.
