I’m considering a week at Club Wyndham Ka'eo Kai in Princeville in August or September. I like the resort for its large 2br units and nice lanai’s. I see that there will be renovations throughout 2026. Does anybody know how extensive the renovations will be? On one hand, it could certainly be a pain staying there when there’s lots of work being done, but on the other hand maybe enough units will have been renovated by then to increase our chances to stay in one of them. Any thoughts?

Try staying at Club Wyndham Shearwater just down the road. Huge 2 bedroom units with large lanai and it's on a bluff overlooking the ocean. They have 3 levels and the higher you are, the better the ocean view. We've stayed at both and Shearwater is paradise.

Ka Eo Kai is one of our home resorts and we love it there. I doubt you'd get much reliable information from Wyndham, but you might try calling the Pahio office onsite. Call during non check-in/check-out hours and you might get someone willing to fill you in on what they know. Or maybe ask for contact info to email a board member who could advise re the number & location of impacted units. Nothing worse than construction noise when trying to enjoy your vacay. Good luck!
