Has anyone been there recently? We have not gone in years. However, someone I know just came back. She is not interested in staying at the timeshare part. She said it seemed like a hastle because they have fences all over and you can not charge to your room. Will someone please fill me in what is going on? Is it an inconvenience?
Thank you!

Club Regina

We stayed at the Regina 1 year ago and had a wonderful experience. We didn't charge anything to our room because we never ate/ drank there, however when we checked in they took our credit card number so that we could sign to our room. There is a fence between the hotel and the timeshare, but you can get around that very easily. Go and enjoy.

The fence is an inconvenience but most of the time you don't even know it's there. We also never eat at the Westin when the Marina is just a walk away.

We were there in January.

We were there in February. All the kitchens have been updated and are a huge improvement. Not that I used it a lot with the wonderful places to eat in the marina.

Re- the fence, well it is there. the only hassle is when you are in the back building- you have to either go through the lobby to the pools, or walk around the Westin grounds to the Club pools- neither is a big deal.

We never ate or drank at the Westin, so there was no issue not being able to charge there- those that used the spa might have a problem, but they have Spa folks from Villa Vera- at the beach, and a spa over there if you wanted to go there. They have added restrooms by the upper pool, and they are so much cleaner than the one by the Westin's pool bar were in the past.

We don't like the idea of the fence- but- it is what it is, but does not detract from our enjoyment of the resort.

Go and have fun- don't let the fence stop you.
